The weigh in is at the city park, one street over from water line road in west tawakoni. Ramp is not in use now at the city park. Holiday and anchor inn are the best ramps right now

you may want to re-think that one ...ole Drawout has been known to hit the restaurant instead of the lake!! but then again a "nice" breakfast would settle  in after a quick nap!!! 21 days till we cross the red river...  We are in ready to follow Johnny where ever he goes

Maybe not -There will be no meeting, late registration or boat launch the morning of the event. Anglers will be allowed to launch on tournament water at 5am tournament morning. No fishing is allowed until 6:30am.

I keep telling myself that I'm done with this tourney. All the years and all we have to show for it is a 3rd and a 6th. Win a tourney the week before Cabelas, then cant hit the top 15 the next week. But, its still on my bucket list , and you cant win it from the couch! It is a well ran deal, good $$,and lots of great competition. It just has me snake bit. So pending 25 mph winds , I'm in again. Big Sam, make sure you have you blood sugar right  Drawout, you and your pops want to put up Mexican food for a side pot??

I would like to try my luck if any one wants to team up I'll provide a boat gas and be on the water at 5 am just need someone to pay any tournament fee. Maybe those bridge guys can drop my boat in the water with their crane(?)

Can you have more than six six rod and reels in the boat? Yes, you can have as many R&R's on the boat you want but are limited to only 6 lines in the water at one time during tournament hours.

Jay i am in training right now for "T" town......man i for got about last year and the score of 40 on my sugar count  Heck we aint won one there either but we enjoy fishing the lake & knowing there are big ones left to be caught  We will be in #2 at Anchor...I am sure the boat launch will be a mess s...surely we can all get in before 630am .. someone might ask they give us more time due to there being only 2 usable ramps...16 days till we cross the red-river Drawout

Well were trying to get down there....7 days...we got some bad weather this week...but next week long range forecast calls for 1-4 inches of snow in Arkansas if they move that up any we may be doomed...plus we got to be able to get back ( well that is what 77777777 ) says  .... personally I aint worried about getting back

Sam is trying to doom us with his forecast, right now Mon, Tues, Wed looks O.K.. We will make the call next Tuesday, hope the weather doesn't stop us from coming down this year. We are pretty used to it keeping us off the lake when we get there but at least we get to come down .

Drawout.....I was on the phone with Sam yesterday. He assured me he will be bringing more skipjack than usual and all will be under lock-and-key and securely hidden. Well another Drawout-hex has us down with 6 inches of snow  Just for that I am brining another 10 skips 20Hrs until departure..come on sunshine !!! knock on wood!!  Steve we will have a quick boat inspection looking for those 1-lb gizzard shad that we know ya got stashed

The trail isn't getting rich on these tournaments. The people who host the tournament isn't twisting anyone's arms to fish it.

I believe the winning stronger was 195# and big fish was 56#, there was also a 55# . I am sure someone will have the official weight shortly.

What's up with the Texas boys allowing the Missouri boys to come down here and put a whoopin' on'em two years in a row? Same fella won this year, and his partner from last year took 5th this year. We might need to get a Tx state trooper to provide them with a complimentary body cavity search next year when they cross the border.

Thanks Big Sam! You and Johnny are always great to see. we needed another 40-50 lb to upgrade the small fish of 24lbs , I made the mistake of quiting early thinking the ramp would be packed. It was not, I left about 45 min on the table oh well, there always next year.
