I have a ZX190(2012) and love it. Mine is 2 stroke 150. Ride is great and even handled rough water pretty good. I made the right choice. I don't know exactly what the difference is from the ZX to the TZX but Skeeter is a good choice in boats.

ZX 200 and love it. I don't want to see it ever traded because it's my first. I'll have to have two. My ZX 200 and the 21 ft.

Absolutely love my Skeeter ZX200. I have had several opportunities to buy a new boat over the years but have not been able to justify dropping 60k for a boat that does the same thing that my 96 ZX 200 will do. I upgraded the motor several years ago from a Mercury 2.5 200efi to a 3.0 225efi. It's been dyno tested and puts 249hp to the prop. 74mph on the gps with only me, 72 fully loaded gear and 2 guys. No complaints. That motor is a beast. Over the years I've put new 82lb motorguide tour, seats, carpet, prop, 12in setback jackplate, new lowrance electronics and changed all of the lighting to led lights, interior, compartments etc. Thought about wrapping it but the gel coat still looks great. Even added leds to the livewells.Dual axle trailer and still turns heads. I will never get rid of this boat. I,ve got a buddy who buys a new triton every 2 years religiously and he still can't do anything with his brand new 2014 21FT Triton TRX that I can't do with my 96 zx200 other than make payments. I almost was enticed to buy a 2013 FX21, but after a test ride, I was not impressed. At least not enough to drop 60k. Only guys who don't love Skeeters are the guys that don't own 1. On plane the Skeeter chop and easily maneuvers in 1ft of water. I think its a keeper.

I had one years ago, it was nice for what it was, an older boat with a lot of wear.
I cannot get past how they slap the water, it annoys the heck out of me. Other than that, they are nice boats...

Does anyone know what the plug size is on the 2014 TZX 190 trailer. Is it the round plug?

They handle like a lil sports car, very responsive.. I had a 2000 ZX190 with a 150 hpdi.. Only regret I didn't max out the hp, should have got the 175 on it... It ran low 60's........ I got this same boat. since I am old I don't mind it going "just" in the low 60's. very nice platform, very nice ride. Had her in the roughest of water on sam Rayburn lately and it did just fine, Headed to Falcon and will go to Mexico in it. very dependable.

About to purchase a 2014 Skeeter TZX 190 with 150 SHO......Wanting to know opinions on these boats and any other information you may have. I picked up my ZX-190 in August from Fun-N-Sun in Hurst and I love it! It came with a Yamaha 150 SHO and I've gotten it to 60 MPH with a full tournament load and one empty tank. As I've gotten older I don't have the "need" to go much faster than that and normally cruise around 50-55 MPH. The TZX has the same hull as the ZX but it doesn't have the aluminum deck grid. I think some of the switches and gauges may be different and some options may not be available on the TZX. Congratulations on your new boat and I'm sure you will love it!

Cant go wrong with Skeeter and Fun N Sun! I've had several boat brands, Skeeter has been hands down my favorite. Fast, great stability, great storage, great resale, etc.
