Am going to be fishing out of Seadrift Wed, and Thurs. Plan is to load kayak in boat, and go across to Matagorda, fish a place that produces some outstanding numbers of redfish in the winter. Buddy cancelled at the last minute, so looking for a replacement. Leaving Austin tonight, coming back early fri morn.

Yep, if i launched from my place on SA bay, that would be a pretty good paddle. lol. That's why i said "put kayak in boat".
Caught 5 slot reds 22-27, 2 keeper Black drum for the table, all but one red was released, Deep hooked. Plastics fished slow on bottom in deeper drains. try to add pics later.

Saturday was just stupid... Needed to take a break from house repairs, Rising clear water, light breeze, pulled up on a grass flat and eight casts later on to look for the reds... [img:center] [/img]
