I'm hoping to get out on Hubbard for the first time this Tuesday. I more concerned about hitting something in the water than I am about catching fish but if you could help a guy out with info on both that would be great. I don't want your secret dpots just someplace to get my line pulled by a sandie or hybrid. General areas.

Thanks guys.

GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Pat, thanks for the offer but I need to run my boat. Was out there last week and couldn't get it over 55mph. Had a spark plug wire loose (long story) so I'm hoping that was the problem. I'll have my son with me as well. I'll look for ya out there.

Sorry to hear that GoneFishN.. I've enjoyed the other videos on Cooper and Tawokoni. Hate that ole mother Hubbard gobbled it up! Man I would love to see the video on this one!!! If there was anyway to retreave the footage (maybe the BlackBox) cry sarcastic ...that would be awesome .... Again sorry to hear about the craft ... Wish you could use the pm info I gave you this morning on catching fish instead of tha drone mad

I did get some video of chandlers before heading to my second spot "CRASH SITE" and I downloaded the footage to my laptop before the crash so I do have some video. I should have known soothing was up. I was having several control issues at chandlers. I noticed a ton of wifi signals when I was logging into drone. Cant help think that played a small part and I made 2 mistakes that I know help contribute to my situation. I wont be down for long. Ill order another one if I cant find and fix this one. In fact Im researching the my options on making one water proof and having floats that rise to the top if under water again.

Ill be smarter next time..Slap me once and ill see the second one coming for sure...lol

Hope you find your drone. If not, we can see who's out this weekend and have a little fishing search party.

Gone- I'll be out as well today. Red bass tracker, trolling motor on by close if I'm catching and join on in the fun. Should be good with light winds and warm weather.....

Catfish are biting good! lol caught 15 fish over 10#s,, The sandbass have decided to stay in hiding till late afternoon. Birds are very deceiving, hovering over baitfish all day but no sandies chasing them. Hybrids seem to be in the trees hiding also. Fish are getting ready to spawn. I caught one the other day that looked like it was about to explode.
We sat under the birds for a while castneting for bait and we have a healthy population of shad mixed in with baby sandbass! Gotta be real careful, I had to pick through tons of bait to find the sandbass and release them. All released survived. Heres a pic smile

Well we looked hard for that drone but never could find it. Never even graphed anything that looked like it. We drug and and drug in the areas that we thought it might be but no luck.

Hi Doug,
You are right. Yesterday, I went out with my fishing friends and there is no single bite. It is so slow. I wonder where fish gone?

I caught a pound and a half large mouth bass while I was dragging the bottom with a treble hook. The fish but it and had it in its mouth. A bare treble hook. Lol

saw lots of birds, marked tons of bait, but didn't see any fish. Wasn't really fishing for sandies but was wondering how they were biting since I saw a few boats out yesterday. Was also slow for black bass...but caught 1 4lber.

We looked all over the south end east and west and found lots of bait but no fish with them. We caught one gasper goo. Went in early and wore the Big Crappie out at the slip. Best day of the year for big Crappie.
Today I didn't even take the boat out. The Crappie was a lot slower, It would have been hard to top yesterday.

Wonder where all the white bass went... market bait and fish towards the 30 rocks in about 18-20ft. Not sure if it was white bass since i was fishing for black bass.

If it makes you feel any better, I lost a 2k$ 36v riptide Ipilot to mother Hubbard several years ago. I made me a big grappling hook out of re bar and drug the area for an hr. All I got back was a gallon worth of lures. LOL.

Weather has been unseasonably warm. Anyone fished Wed or today? If so, water temp got to 50 degrees yet. Thanks in advance.

Thanks brightIdeas. I am guessing you were fishing shallower for the green fish . The deeper deadstick areas are probably few degrees lower.

I am goingout on Hubbard tomorrow and was going to ask the same question. Guess this is not the place to get an answer. Suggestions for catching some sand bass?
