Looking to head out around 1 or so, anyone know of any bank fishing spots on fork or tawakoni where I might have some luck with the sand bass?
If anyone else is out and about, feel free to come along

Give it another month and a half Mid March is when you will Yes ( you will fish) Windy points around Twok or fork when the water temp hits 55-60degrees Shad start to spawn and you name it the bar fish spawn . They spawn on sandy/gravely bottoms. Cast netting for shad would be easy But I much rather trick the fish then feed them. 1/4oz slabs- 1oz slabs with a grub on top be killer If you want more info I'd be making many trips to Twok -jimmy
fishing is one thing. catching is another

^ great tips there... We have killed em from the bank using a salt water popping cork or weighted cork and dual grubs/ crappie jigs
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach
