Fished Belton Lake with Belton Bass Club on the 18th. One fish caught, 2+ lbs. Thats one fish total, of all who fished.

Don't feel bad, I fished all weekend on Belton and only managed one large mouth. Marked a lot of fish in 40 feet of water but didn't find any activity shallow. Everyone else I talked to seemed to be having similar luck.

Bout as tough as I ever seen it! Burned a whole tank of gas for one bite yesterday lol. Anybody find em?
I didn't really poke around shallow but I tried humps, points deep bluffs even the darn flats fished all over from Jubilee to main lake and nothing seemed to be going on. Seems everything was just scattered or suspended found some bait but zero activity. Even the whites n hybrids seemed to be off.

Forgot my A rig box at home and that tends to be my last resort deal but I'm not sure that would have done it either.

It's definately fishing tough right now. I've fished it 3 times in the last week and 2 out of 3' I was skunked . Today I had two bites in 3 1/2 hrs of fishing and caught 1'dink. Seems like ever since the water dropped below 52 degrees the bite died!

Just got back. Fished from 11:00 am to dark. Concentrated on deep ledges with big baits and struck out. Finally partner throw a little chartreuse roadrunner at the bank and snags a 2 pounder.

Tough bite today.

Well that bums me out. I fished that tourney and had 1 keeper in the livewell but threw it back and left believing I had no chance with only one keeper.
