I usually do pretty well on Richland Chambers this time of year. But these last few weeks have been tough for me. Admittedly most of my better days usually come from open water flats, ledges, and points. Just haven't been able to find fish in those spots. Saturday we worked a ton of timber up the Richland Arm of the lake with minimal success. Fished timber from 2' to 25' of water. We had bait and fish under us at times so thick that my graph lost bottom. But very few fish in the boat. We used fresh cut perch, shad, and even some Danny kings. Pretty frustrating when you can't seem to figure out the pattern. Any tips would be appreciated.

Kubroe, Still hammering the Eaters in the heavy timber in 13'-18'fow out from Crab Creek every trip. Was up there Saturday but had to move to 22' water along a secluded treeline to find the numbers. Ended with 55 Keepers, lots of throwbacks and a couple of slot Blues. Today, had to stay along the South Shoreline and work the timbered coves up from Fisherman's Point Marina. 30MPH Wind Gusts at 7AM! Unusual day in that we had only 30 Keepers, but not one throwback. All solid 2lb. to 5lb. Blues and Channels. All fish all Fall/Winter on Danny Kings's Blood Punch Bait.
Thank goodness for Catfish as it looks like Spring before we see the Whites and Hybrids again!!!
Good Luck!
