Used to go to Fork every spring back in the 90's just to fish beds.. At first you would see a milk crate, bucket, and even a two or three step folding ladder.... Then along came these guys with some aluminum boats that had some scaffold or towers on them.. I swear I saw one that was 8 foot tall. A couple had even went so far as to extend the wiring on there trolling motor control so they could run it from the top. Another even had an electric anchor with a toggle switch up top.. He would troll along until he saw one on the bed----drop anchor and pitch a live waterdog. Most times it only took one cast.
Left a bad taste in my mouth.. I for one was glad that most better tournament trails banned the use of anything to gain a height advantage.

Each to his own. I've fished in Laddermans boat at Fork and most fishermen would be shocked at the fish you can see that most boats pass over. Not really my preferred way to fish but it's definately an eye opener and he's had some days here at Fork we would all be envious of.

Ya'll are old school. I use a drone with a GoPro and display it on a 32" monitor on the front deck.
