Plenty of places to kayak in the Coastal Bend, being from Rockport to Portland.
High today is 71 with a moon rising early this morning.
Action has been good for both trout and reds, some kayak/wadefish areas stay "active" because bait hangs by the structure present year round.

The surf should be good for bullred and black drum. Maybe you could kayak baits out to the bars.

However, have heard of the reds being up in skinny water in the afternoons along the Aransas Pass/Redfish Bay to Laguna Madre area. That includes the CC bay proper. Watch the weather, got forecasts for strong front and then strong S-SSE winds, then N winds again over the next week. Could have drained areas from the fronts, but that can be great for fishing since you have kayaks. Biggest thing is to stay dry, waders, water proof coats, etc if you've not fished the cold months. Remember you're gonna have duck hunters out there so be prepared for that. Check your PM. Good Luck!

I fish in Rockport all the time on my Jackson Big Rig. There are quiet a few spots to launch your Kayak. Check out the FB Group "Rockport Fishing" and you can see all the kayak launch spots. I heard that Estes Flats and Estes Cove is getting some good action right now in the sandy holes in the deeper water. If its not too windy you can go to the bay side of Estes and fish those holes as well. Tight Lines and Good Fishin'!!
