I was wondering what the legality of camping on this island at PK would be. It's the island north of Costello

My guess is it is not allowed. It is not a designated camping area. Legally it's not viewed the same as camping on an "island" in a river bed. If this island is not private property like Costello it is probably BRA controlled and they limit camping to designated sites within lakes.

The larger island in your pic has some development on it but the smaller one looks completely undeveloped. Probably just BRA land. Easier to ask forgiveness than permission. :-)

Back in '70's a friend and I started to explore that island. It was populated by feral goats. The mosquito's were so bad we jumped back in the boat and got the hale out of there.
