i bought a boat a couple of weeks ago that had sit for over a year. I took it out on Fork for a test run. The first day it ran fine. The second day, just after I got it off the trailer, it died and started smelling like something was burning.
I took it to J&J Marine and within 5 minutes they figured out the problem. Burnt up voltage regulator. The mechanic said that a bad battery could of caused the problem. I left the boat with them over the weekend. When they called Monday morning, the mechanic told me that he checked the battery and it was good. The only problem was the voltage regulator and it was fixed!
I want to thank the guys at J&J Marine for, first of all, being honest. They could have told me a list of things needed replacing, but they didn't. Secondly, for getting right on the boat and fixing it without charging an arm and a leg.
I HIGHLY recommend J&J Marine for all of your mechanical needs. The prices are fair and the quality of their work is excellent!!

I had a great experience with JJ and few years ago,..I was selling a boat, went for a test ride with my buyer and the impeller went out...had to get towed in. Buyer said if I get it fixed he'd stay and still take the boat. Called JJ, and they had me back on the water in about 3 hours. Sold the boat that day.
They stopped what they were doing and fixed my problem like champs...good guys..!!!

Years ago I went to J&J one morning after my Skeeter would not start. They said they do not work on Skeeters and have not been back.

Hard to believe that they said they didn't work on Skeeter boats, I have seen numerous Skeeter boats in their shop. Never heard that unless they did not have a Yamaha tech there at the time. Jesse has always taken care of my needs very promptly and at a fair price. They have my business when at Fork!

J J Marine gets my business every year I go down to Lake Fork to chase the big mamma's in March.. Jesse is a hoot talk to. He sounds just like Hank Hill

They did a whole new lower unit on my Ranger last year....Delivered on time and the work was absolutely top notch. Have nothing but good things to say about them!!!
