http://luckylindycharters.com/images/alb...db0b301.jpg.pngDecember 6, 2014 Very warm, humid, calm winds, thanks to a Pacific Front, Great Day for fishing. Sabine Lake was like glass. Not hard finding nervous bait, not hard finding Speckled trout. The Specks are still in the North End of Sabine Lake, the Reds in the South End, and still plenty of Flounder in Sabine Pass. Today you could fish anywhere in Sabine lake, and catch some nice fish everywhere. Birds are working, but you don't need them if you are after Big Speckled Trout. It is nice the birds are around, but not necessary to catch the winter Specks. There were not many fishermen, so everybody pretty much had their own flock of birds. Live shrimp worked as well as soft plastic Texas Trout Killers. Really did not matter, the fish are fattening up for the winter and I think they would eat just about anything. These 75 degree days in December are great, it is nice when you can take advantage of them, Especially in Southeast Texas. www.luckylindycharters.com
