I have the day off on Wednesday and and would like to fish somewhere a little different than my normal spots (Hubbard and Sandy Lake)... I am pretty open to any lakes within an hour or two of DFW and love to learn new stuff. I'm open to anything from drifting for big cats to going after LMB and Crappie.

I'm thinking about hitting some shallow water for blues on Hubbard tomorrow.... no guarantee of catching nor a guarantee of a trophy blue....but I can guarantee that the hook will be soaking with the "right" bait to make the above possible

You have my attention Chess101... I have been catching Blues on Hubbard with good success lately and would love to hook up with a big boy. Most of the ones I have been catching have been between 3 - 10lbs. So, great eating size but not the monster. I have yet to land a 15lb+ in my yak yet so definitely want to do that.
