4500 is the range I run the most and I open her up every few trips out.

Yea.....mines 17 years old and runs like it's [censored] is on fire (ask forkfish) so......not so much decreased life....what blows up 2 strokes is babying them most of the time and then running WOT....

Im never in a hurry to go anywhere. I rarely get higher than 40-50 mph gps

And who told you this? All engines are more likely to blow up as the RPM's increase. It's not rocket science.

Around 4300 for the most part usually airing it out once or twice in an open area where it is safe to do so. My smaller rigs I ran @ WOT all the time.........
