Today I had Lisa, from Caldwell, and her parents Kent and Karen, from Florida, out for a morning on Fayette County Lake. Started 40 degrees, light north winds, beautiful day on the water.
Karen was the first one to hook up with a fish, even before I got anyone else baited up. We had three fish very fast and then the bite slowed to normal. We moved three times, catching some fish at each location. The bite slowed when the sun got up high.
They ended the morning with 25 nice cats to 10#, with two in the 8-9# size, and only 2 under 5#.
All fish caught on CJ's Crawdad punch bait, under corks, in 6-10 foot water.
Taking off a few days here, Happy Thanksgiving to All my friends. Keep safe on the highways.
