Has anyone ever been to and fished Indianola Park near Matagorda? I am trying to put together a list of good spots accessible without a boat for an upcoming trip. I had not ever heard of this one, and wanted some recommendations before making the drive. Thanks!

Do not try to fish there in a big north wind. Other than that it's a spot that depends on hard tide movement.

There are some excellent areas to fish without a boat along the coastal bend. Good idea to start making a list and game plan. Knowing when those 'spots' turn on or what makes them more productive than others times of the year or tide phase is the ticket to success.
