I haven't seen any talk about Tyler in a long time.

Is that because it's dead or on fire? I'm thinking of going next week, anybody have any information, water temp in particular?

Went yesterday from 9:30AM to 3:00PM - Never touched one. Fished from 2' to 22' deep. ONLY place I graphed fish was in 20' of water. Absolutely nothing in between. Since the lake is pretty full - best I can tell they may be buried up in the vegetation along the shoreline. Never tried punching through that stuff.

Good luck

Thanks MtnHm203.

I'm gonna go swing at 'em. Haven't wet a line in 5 months, maybe they'll cooperate out of sympathy.

Good idea AWS - I went yesterday - a little windy, but put an 8 pound/ 23" largemouth in the boat @ 7:30AM. Then they disappeared. Close enough, LOL
Came home at noon.

I went this past Wednesday and caught a bunch of dinks! Nothing big but lake tyler definitely has quantity. Look for docks with water 8 feet or deeper at the end and you'll find fish! Jig works nice and wacky rig.

To fish or not to fish is the question

grin you know I'd like that better, but boat is in Tyler and I'll only have a half day or so to fish, don't want to spend it all driving.

Thanks ShaneOh, think I know of 3 or 2 docks that fit that category! banana Got just the bait for that too.
