I'm from Waco never fished for stripers . Does anyone know a lake within a 1hr 30min from Waco with some really good striper action? And could also use some tips and advice to catch them from the bank ?

I live in Waco and I don't think you will be able to find good strippers around here unless you go to the Dallas area. Whitney used to have them from what I heard but I think that was the good ole days. Waco has a good white bass population though.

Whitney has some good stripers in it but it can be a hard lake to fish.
