I worked all day looking across the lake! Each time I would see something new, and would want to fish even more!but i can not fish on the clock! Knowing rain was coming I had made my mind up thay i would just head on home. 15:30 rolled around and the rain started pouring, I knew I was homeward bound! 17:00 hit I head to the truck look through the back door window and there it was, my full set of rain gear! The wind was not too hard and the rain was steady! I dawned my rain gear and fished for about an hour and a half! I caught 4 fish 3 were six to 7 inches, the 1 keeper was 11". I was fishing 8 feet deep in 10 to 12 feet of water, holding the jig dead still. I had several bumps but did not hook up! I was the only guy fishing.

I haven't dawned my rain gear yet this year, but know the day will come

Side note: I knew that job would be torture - having to look at the lake all day can be both inspiring and nerve wrecking
