 I Did Go Today--Here Are The Pictures

I called Shannon early this morning and I told him we would go. We went out about 9:00.  Michael also came and went with us.  Here is one of about 40.  Here is our catch. Sorry for no big blues, but you know I fish for channel catfish.  It was really good to have real good friends come by and spend time on the water together. It was a little windy but a good time was had by all. All of the fillets went home with Michael for him and his mom who live in Dallas. It is nice to have good friends!!

River was high from the rains and loads of stuff flowing down stream. One dink that was so full it looked like he had ate a light bulb, I hunted them for 3 hours and called it a skunk. Took the kayak out of the truck when I got home, looks like my river fishing is over for at least a week, they are projecting a 11' rise in the river this week and increase in flow from around 250cfs to 3200cfs.
My personal best is still swimming out there just getting bigger. One of these days I will quit feeding it.

Nothing wrong with channel cat. Sometimes I think we need a separate forum listing for blues and channels. That cheese bait is awesome for some channels.
