 anyone fish Hickory creek (Texoma) for crappie

Looking at Google earth that may be a place I try this winter to see if they go up in there. If anyone has fished there I'd appreciate a heads up. hate to go there and find out it's nothing but Gar and carp.

Bank fishing only can't get a boat in it anymore also it does get pretty crowed on weekends. Okie Bob and I went last week and only caught seven

Also don't recommend going for the next 2 weeks deer season is going on a lot of people hunt there

Thanks for the info Bigpapa. I think I'll give it a try once deer season is over. I might be able to get my inflatable boat in there. I build it up and launch from the bank. How deep is the water there?

Water at the bridge maybe a foot water in the channel of creek anywhere from 6 inches to about 5 foot
