Does anyone run new merc 4 stoke on a bass boat? Just wondering how it would do on 18 ft sabre bass cat.  J. D.

good evening, I have one on a charger 181, 2014.........about 35 hrs so far .....love it , quiet, quick hole shot, about 4 seconds to plane ,,,about 35 mph.....loaded with full tank and live wells....60 gps..... here it is!!!!!!!!!  had the 10 hr check up, everything OK...break in according to manual....you should not have any problems.... one thing I always do in all my vehicles, run 1 hr. CHANGE OIL AND FILTER.....it only cost me $50 at the dealer.... good luck, PURA VIDA, bluebonnet2

Op-imo just get that motor and put it on that boat- wonderful combo, possibly the best 18 ft motor/ boat combo out there today.
