Four hubbard migos (JV, Gene, Jeff, SPT) fished the big pond from 8 to 2 today. The weatherman was wrong again and it turned out to be a perfect fishing day weather wise  Everyone caught good quality fish throwing sassy shads and deadsticking. Most of the fish were overs. With several pushing double digits.  We had a blast! Thanks for the invite Gene! Good seeing and talking to Chris Carey and JD Lyle Pics from bigT! Cold cloudy days = BIG FISH!

Thanks guys! I rushed the report due dinner calling last night. Lol. More helpful infos for fellow TFFers: For us we caught 3/4 of fish on sassy shads. 1/4 on deadsticking slow drift flukes. So deadstick is not on prime time yet Winter big fish have light bites so bring your ninja reflexes. Pay attention to graph so you can be more ready We all got light Thump misses LOL. Also IMO, it's not hero" season yet. Not fast and furious catching. Not big/dense grouping of fish. But steady bites once you find them. Birds help:) I couldn't read the water temp cuz Gene's graph is too high tech for this homie Lol. But it's probably mid to low 50's. So hero season is inching closer Lol.

Way to go Men! were warming up for the LadiesMan and the hubbard crew next weekend. Y'all will have blast at JDs cabins and of course catching too. Wish I can come out to play next week with the Hubbard team#2 but still negotiating... Lol

Glad you guys had a great trip.  Saw you guys on you way in.We only got a couple of sprinkles on us the entire day.The weather looked like it was going to be off the chain fishing.We caught some shallow , and some deep.The fish are doing something different everday.Nice fisheys

The birds called us over and we saw y'all catching all by yourselves. Yep a very good day from all the guides we talked to and we even got a stack of delicious home made Texoma beef jetties delivered on the water by Striper Express? We gobbled em up! Thanks Chris Carey for the snacks delivery after your crew were tired of catching. Sorry I didn't have egg rolls to swap Lol  Man, it's good to have a twin brother who knows people that know people

We did pretty well Saturday and the exciting thing is dead sticking has started on Big T. Varner was the first one to catch a fish dead sticking and when that happened we all started. We even caught 1 fish on an umbrella rig but I do not know who has that pic. It was a great day on the water and even greater friends to fish with. Did I mention most of our fish were in 12 water or less. I am ready to go back!!!

Sorry Todd , Gene, JV and Jeff i am late replying. We have been pulling 12 hour shifts and weekends. GREAT REPORT!! Way to go guys. Blue tuna said the update reports all day made a day at work easier for him. NOT ME !! it made it worse because it was killing me to be here at work Any way glad y'all had a stellar day. I saw the video of you that gene took and it was a great catch. Way to go Hubbard gang
