We found Shad in 16fow as thick as you could want. the net was heavy with the little buggers. I bought a new taped net, OMG!!!! it is WELL worth the money. Every throw was a near perfect circle. We then went to the east side of Hubbard, hooked up within 5 minutes and the action never stopped. We boated a cooler full of eaters and CPR'd a 23,20,19,18(x2),16(x2),12(x3),10,9, 8(x3). My phone crapped out at 10am, but did have some pics. We caught all fish in 2 to 8 fow. I have 4 seats open tomorrow, Im full Sunday, and have a few seats Tuesday.

I kinda wish the secret wouldn't have gotten out about the taped nets. It made my bait catching seem much more impressive than it actually was. Way to get on the bait and the blues, Dusty. That boat should fill up fast of people have any sense.

It was a great day on the water, cool but not cold. Dusty took us directly to his "family spot" and we began to catch fish almost immediately. Nice guy, nice trip on a comfortable boat.
