A friend and I are thinking about gifting a guided trip on Texoma to our boys for Christmas. There would be 6 or 7 of us in total, with a couple being kids, a couple middle aged men and one grandpa.

If we do this, I am wondering which guides could best accommodate that kind of group, and when in 2015 would give us the best chance to have the most success.

I know there are several very reputable guides here on the TFF. Would love to use one of them.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts/advice.

I'd go with John Blasingame. He puts a post up here almost every day with a huge ice chest full of stripers. Seems to catch them when everyone else can't AND he has a heater in his boat.

John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

JD Lyle and company can get you on the fish. Big boat and second boat if needed. Good guy and good guide.

John Blasingame is awesome. I have used him many, many times. I have taken my kids and their grand parents on trips with him and they had a blast. His boat can't be beat. http://www.adventuretexomaoutdoors.com

I've been with John Blasingame 6 times since August, including last Monday. Always catch fish, laugh, and have a great time.

All the guides mentioned are excellent.
We used Tim Cline a couple weeks ago on a multi kid trip, he handled it perfectly and all the kids couldn't have had more fun. Everyone had limits on a tough day as well.

I would defiantly call Striper Express out of Mill creek. I have used them for years and are great with kids. especially Chris.
They are a top notched guide service.
