I like the way that schedule looks. Do you have to belong to a affiliated club to fish them?

Slim -

No you don't have to belong to an affiliated club - There will be some big changes to incentivize non-boater participation as well. Last couple of years we have been averaging close to 25 anglers. If we can get to 60 per tournament I will be able to get some awesome giveaways during each tournament. Contact me for more information. I'll keep everyone posted.

Guaranteed boater - no need to bring a non-boater to secure the use of your boat.

You can go to the Bass Federation Nation Website but its not up. I'm trying to get everyone on board early this season.

im pretty sure you have to be affiliated with a club to fish the region, at least it has been that way for many many years, I think coolj is talking about the weekend series.

They've changed some of the rules this year. I don't know the details, but I think you just have to pay federation dues.

I talked to the new director today, its a hefty fee if you don't belong to a club, its actually cheaper to join a club and fish the regionals.
and yes, new rules and things are going into effect this year. Looks like a good schedule for sure

Region Trail has to many conflicts with club events. IMO the regions should be here to serve the clubs not vice versa.

Only Federation club that will not have conflicts with scheduling will be Century.....

The region has announced their schedule with plenty of time for clubs to consider in their own scheduling if they choose to do so. Century has not announced theirs yet. What do you suggest? Wait till every Nation club puts out their schedule and then try to find a weekend or two that doesn't conflict? As for your comment concerning Century, yes it's a fine club and supports the NE region at a higher level than any other club. If Century anglers didn't fish the region there wouldn't be more than a handful of anglers show up.
