Comments on first video from a guy from BC said it's called a River Inlet knot and from research online diagram looks right. I re-shot this with white nylon cord to make it easy to see. This is still the best fluorocarbon knot I've tried. Best fluorocarbon line knot

I like the double San Diego Jam knot.
The Palomar knot is fine with fluorocarbon line if you tie it CORRECTLY and it will not cut itself if done CORRECTLY.
That is an interesting knot in the video. I haven't seen that one till now.

never have knot breakage issue with regular (single) 6 turn san diego jam not, what I always use for fluorocarbon terminal knots since I started using it.
Single most important thing with fluoro knots (and any other honestly) is tying something you can get tied properly EVERY TIME. That means the knot lays correctly and doesn't cross or overlap turns that shouldn't.
Properly wetted line is also of utmost importance with fluorocarbon.

Thanks for the comments guys...I tied the SD jam knot some but couldn't get the same consistency I can in this one. Like Mulholland said, getting it same every time is key
