I am installing a new Elite 5 DSI on my boat, and my old humminbird finder has a power cable already hooked up to the battery clearly. It has a red and black wire inside if it just like my new lowrance power cable. So Can I just use the old power cable spliced into my new one. OR do i have to run the wiring all over again from my new cable?
Thanks for any advice its sure appreciated

You can just cut the old power cord off and attach your new cord to the wires going to the battery. I would also cut off olf fuse box and put no the new one.
