can anyone hit me with a solid report? and maybe a good location for them? i know where sortof everywhere in the surf but a specific pier or jetty would help

Wish I lived there.
So for what it's worth....
As of last week, bull reds and whiting are good in the surf by rollover and croakers slow. This isn't my personal observation but a report from Ed Snyder. I just like to look at his fish porn and live vicariously through these folks.

61st or glveston fishing pier. Anywhere in the surf.
