Sorry to hear that Drew. Currently there's an 80% chance of rain with possible thunderstorms on Sunday. If this is the case the event will be cancelled for this month. I figured that this would happen once or twice. I'll keep an eye on the weather and post for sure if it will be cancelled.

Sunday's weather look good, but it's going to be hot. Upper 80's so it's going to feel like it's in the low 90's. Be prepared for that type of heat.

Also, this event has not generated as much interest as the others. The head count is low enough I'm considering cancelling the event. Please let me know if you plan on attending but haven't registered yet or if you think waiting until next month would be better.

After looking into it, BassGrabbers is having a tournament the same day is this one. The turn out will probably be lower for our event because it appears that theirs is a bigger event than normal.

Question is... Cancel for this month, or go ahead with the tournament?

Keep in mind I currently have less than 10 people (including me) registered for the event on 4/26.

I wanted to let everyone who has attended the events that I greatly appreciate your support. I've had some few changes in my life that are now effecting my ability to host these events. Moving forward, I will not be hosting these events on a monthly basis anymore. I will still hold them, but when and where are the unknown elements at this time. All I can say is to keep an eye out for this post here as I will update it when the next event will be held, and also the website.

Sunday July 12th. Tentative date for the next event. Location has not been determined at this point. Weather will play a factor in location. I will update the list of places to vote on as soon as I determine the possible locations.

July 12th is on. Still scouting locations but I can tell you that it's going to be a morning event. 7am-12(noon).
Same rules as before. When locations are decided, registration will be open.

I've only received one registration form and zero location submissions.

If by Wednesday I do not receive more, I'm going to cancel the even due to low participation.

So far there's only 4 people registered for this event. I know there's another event happening at White Rock Lake and I think that some people are going to that. I'll give this until the end of Friday. If I don't get more people to make the event worth while to fish... it will be cancelled.

Kris I will be out of town on the 12th so can't make this event.

I'm guessing no tourney tomorrow?
