Took a little trip south with Chopper and a few reprobates from Wills Point and one refugee from Boerne.
Had a greart time catching redfish.

I'll try to upload a few pictures.

Found out a few things about fishing there:
1 It is rough
2 There is such a thing as current
3 22' is not a big boat
4 Funny things can happen
5 Current will change direction
6 Crabs stink and are hard to take apart
7 I can't wait to go back

Yeah you have to monitor the weather religiously cuz it can get ROUGH in a hurry! Yours Truly the "seapro" dude 3 times on his first day but I did my thang in the back of the boat and continued fishing cuz I am a tuff () dude? Only saw three sea Giants from Chopper on Friday. We want more pics!

Always cracks me up when you hear people come to Texoma and say they encountered 6-7' swells LMAO!! Boy you aint been on the ocean if you think Texoma has 6-7' swells! I've seen legit 2' chop on Texoma but it aint nothin like a TRUE 4-5' sea you might encounter right outta the jetties in Galveston..Be safe! Always check that weather before you head out, i work out there on osv's and i can't tell you how many times a day we hear USCG maydays each and every day calling for help because someone forgot to check their bilge pump or the weather before they headed out. Make sure you got a good VHF too! And a backup. And atleast 2 gps's

Not sure if anyone cares what i have to say but I wouldn't go out there without atleast 4 gallon jugs of water too! And make sure that gas tank is topped off to the brim. It's easy to get in a bad situation out there, we see it go from flat calm to 4-5's in a matter of an hour All the time, especially during the winter.

On Friday we caught and landed between 30-35 fish, other than a 26" shark and a couple of graftop nothing was under 17#s.

Chopper had us on them and they hung around. Good times with great people, nice to fish with folks that go out of their way to make sure others in the boat and with the party have a good time and learn something about this kind of fishing. Can't wait to go back.
