Welcome aboard new guys... And please, watch your step...
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

This place is full of information about fishing. As one of the previous posts suggests - buckle up! What kind of fishing do you do, and where are you interested to fish? Upgrading - yes you can get lots of info here. Talk to David at "Shut-up-and-fish". He's a great resource!

Welcome dcar. What I've found on this page is if you want to learn how to catch fish read the Crappie pages. If you want to learn how to make your boat run 100 mph then read the Bass pages. This is a great bunch and they'll help you every way they can.
To whom much is given, much is required.

Welcome to the Forum. There are a bunch of Good Guys here!
We all use different methods to catch crappie but they all work. Some use plastics some like to tie their own hair jigs. Some prefer to look for cover in the lake, while other just create our own spots to catch fish out of.
Very diverse group here. We are pretty open about our methods, less open about our "spots"....lol.
