Took little sister Dee out yesterday from 8:30AM to 12:30PM and we caught 39: 33 whites, 2 hybrids, 2 cats, a crappie and a yellow bass. Had a 3rd hybrid pull off. This was a little early in the day for me, but I had a back-end appointment at 2PM. We kept enough for a fish fry last night with our spouses. We caught fish at Saint Annes Point East, 3-Jug Hump, Merimac Point, Iron Wall Hump and Point, and east end of Long Ridge. Most caught on #4 Mepps and a few on #2. Fish were in 12 to 15 fow at Saint Annes, Merimac and Iron Wall Point and were in 17 to 21 fow at the other spots. Caught one hybrid at Merimac, one at Iron Wall Hump and the pull-off as at Long Ridge. Dee with nice white Yours truly with a 23 inch hybrid

Thanks for the report Mr Christian. Planning on going there tomorrow and launching at Log Cabin. Hopefully it won't be too cold or windy.

There have been some there for a few weeks. One can usually catch 5 to 10 whites there. It fishes much better when the lake is full or near full.

You sister is wearing a great sweat shirt! Thanks for a fishing report!
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Dennis, How are the ramps there now. What's the best place to launch?

Log Cabin is the best available, as you face the lake favor the left side of the middle of the ramp.
I have been launching there as well as Chuck Rollins, Chuck has 24' boats and has no issues.
It ain't easy making it look easy.

Dons Port ramp is getting bad. Launched there the last two days. Concrete is falling apart, very hard to get your trailer level to load. But will try Log Cabin next week.
