I know this has probably been asked before but...I lose depth when on plane.not all the time and not right away. My transducer hangs below my transom(or it should I think). I have pictures of it on my phone if I can figure out how to get them on here.

It will require installing the Humminbird XP-9-20 Puck Transducer in the hull and a Humminbird AS SIDB Y Cable f/Side Image & Dual Beam to achieve depth at high speeds.

You can also set the attitude so it can give you on-plane depth readings. Tilt the temp. sensor end down slightly to get a better water flow across the face.

Adding a shoot-thru transducer is the best solution for your hull though.

That's what I thought I just wanted to make sure. Do you mean tilt down or up? I'm guessing down but the design of the mount won't allow it to tilt down any more. Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for the help
