Summer vegetable gardens now dead need to to be turned over, worked, and prepped for spring gardens and or flower beds, The "Honey do lists" seem to grow larger in the fall than any other time of the year. So now is the time to go out to your local lake, creek or pond, and clean up, having a huge lake, a fish choked creek, or a red hot pond virtually to yourself!

To me that is awesome!

Fall is usually my best season but the water temperatures are still higher than normal.

Best summer I have had in a while. Been posting pics almost daily on FB. I like the fall for sure, the last three trips I was the only boat out there.

I see several comments about posting reports on Facebook rather than TFF. I also am on Facebook, but make my fishing reports here on TFF, and, if I want to share the report on Facebook also, I simply click the Facebook icon at the bottom of my TFF post. I suggest others do this to keep TFF as complete and informative as possible - as opposed to abandoning TFF for Facebook.

Posting on FB you get a LOT LESS BS from people... no lure wars, no junior wardens, no political BS. It is just the better way to build business. I have cut advertising to almost nothing, word of mouth and social media (FB) have been great.

Hummmm! My experience is just the opposite - I have to scroll through pages of stuff people pass on to find the few original posts that are of interest. However, fishing is not my livelihood, and as a guide you need to do what makes the most economical sense for you consistent with your values.

Fishing PK has been wonderful, I'd post pics from time to time but phone is getting old and won't post pics anymore.

PK fishing has been great. 5 person slab trip last saturday. Kept 97 sandbass and 3 keeper stripers.

Granbury is similar.....lots of fish to catch.
