Went on a scouting run today from 10:30AM to 1:20PM meaning I would try to locate multiple spots with fish and catch 10 per spot to prove they were catchable. Started at Long Ridge covering it from mid-point to the east end and never found a sizeable concentration of white bass. There were a few small concentrations scattered around, but I didnt stop to fish them. Next went to Mid-lake Hump saw even fewer fish there. Then went to Iron Wall Hump and found good sized concentration there in 18 to 21 fow. Caught 10 then eased over to check the point at the big rock boathouse on the shore east of Iron Wall Hump. Found a good concentration there in 15-17 fow and caught 10 more all so far 13 to 16 inch fat white bass. A pic below shows graph signature of these fish. Next I went to Merimac Point and checked 20 to 24 fow out near the east end of the underwater point. Saw scattered fish on the bottom but couldnt catch em dont think they were whites. Last spot was 3-Jug Hump and found a large school there in 17-19 fow. Before heading for house, I caught 7 whites and 3 hybrids to 23 inches. Also got a pic below of graph signature of these fish. Total catch was 27 whites and 3 hybrids. All but one caught on #4 Mepps reeling medium to medium fast up from the bottom. Screen shot of white bass on point out from stone boat house (shore east of Iron wall Hump) Screen shot of whites at 3-Jug Hump

Mr. Christian, I love your fishing reports for the lake and appreciate you taking the time to post them to the benefit of all. I have a question, where is Iron Wall Hump. I have a map that list most of the humps on the lake but Game Warden and Iron Wall are two that I can not correlate to any of the maps that I have. Thanks again for the updates.

Here's my latest map. Iron Wall Hump is spot HH. Game Warden Hump is not on the map, but is close to the shore just north of the spillway.

Good timing on the map Dennis. My November 19, 2010 color copy of yours blew into the lake Saturday.

Thanks Mr. Christian. I'm a transplant from Alabama after some years in the AF. Trying to learn how to fish these deeper lakes that Texas has. Big change for me since most lakes I fish in were, at most, 20ft deep.
