Surf when it's clear. Suckers for silver spoon.

You can get them anywhere on the the beachfront in Galveston when the water is clear. Key is light SE wind -less than 10 mph. Here's a link for some tips when targeting them. They are not hard to catch when they're around. We used to catch them off the rock jetties and the piers all the time. http://cudakilla.com/2014/09/13/gulf-coast-spanish-mackerel-tips/

They are real easy to catch. A lot times you can see them schooling on top. Throw anything silver or chrome that's flashy or the Betts redfish rigs. Gonna need wire leader also. Use a black barrel swivel cause they will bite the line above the swivel if it is shiny.

It looks pretty windy (E/ESE 20 mph)and the seas are rough(2.5-4'). Based on that forecast, I recommend going to the Port Aransas big jetties or Packery Channel jetties to find clean water.

Thanks Tran. Sorry I am not Vietnamese. Just the usual obsessed fisherman.
