LL is about 5 minutes from my house so it's easy for me to just go to Stewart Creek Ramp and fish for awhile. Problem is, it's a darned hard lake to find fish in. I fish for fun and relaxation but I do like to catch them sometimes. If there is wind, can't fish the dam where I have done my best. Any ideas?

Fish are moving back in the creeks. Rocky points or timber near the creek is holding fish. spinnerbiats and squarebill. the old dam, or in the backs of the marinas is a good spot to try too.

Water temp is around 72-73 as of Sat. Fish definitely aren't in the back of creeks yet. It has been tough for me. Caught three fish total in 2 days on LL. When the water temp drops below 65 it should be easier to figure out (I hope).

We've been catching them pretty good lately, just not any big fish. The fish are on isolated rock piles, wood, slips. Most of the wood that I usually catch them on they are not there because of it being too shallow. The most important factor with finding fish now is that you must have deep water real close. But most of the fish are real shallow, if that makes sense. I haven't set the world a fire or anything, but 4-5 hr trip can return 12-14 fish a trip.

Only rocks I know of are at the dam. I guess I need to go to the West side of the lake more often.

Rocks = Dam dam, old dam, bridges (all of them), shoreline in Old Lake Dallas (north of toll bridge), main lake points near the cut to The Colony, East & West side of I35 bridge, main lake near the fishing barge, etc, etc. Rocks are Everywhere on LL! Finding them near timber is more of an issue.

Finally caught a few last Sunday 7 total with 2 being keepers all but one was in 5 to 8 feet of water, one was shallow. only can get bit on one lure. the biggest one spit out someone's whacky rigged sinko, lure was too swollen to tell what color it really is. good luck Saturday in the wind.
