I am interested in baiting out a catfish hole. Is there anything you can put out that will keep them there for three or four days at a time? I cant get to the lake but about every three days. I tried range cubes in a toe sack, but that seems to competely break down within a day or two.

I have used cubes of my dock and get fast but temporary action . I intend to buy a deer or cow feed block [about35 lbs. ] from tractor supply and saw it into 5 or 10 lbs chunks and see how they work .moch harder and less surface area .

I use milo or wheat. I place in a 5 gallon bucket with holes drilled in it. Half of the grain is sour and the other half will sour over time in the water. After I notice not so many cats around, I start the process over.

There is really nothing that will last over three or four days. But you can put sour grain in a potato sack and sink it but the fish will tear it up.You might try my bait It will bring them in pretty quick .Hope this helps .

I have found that catfish will stick around if you feed them several days a week at the same location.
