 Ketched a few sunfish by accident

Sounds as if the sunfish saved the day. I caught a few sunfish too, but I did it on purpose. I plan to start crappie fishing next Wednesday but fully expect to be skunked a few times until the water gets colder and the bite firms up.
Amazing how small crappie can be and still hit a jig.

Amazing how small crappie can be and still hit a jig. actually the sunfish were kinda in the way sir ..... the crappie were doing ok ....  and the sunfish were just kinda in there peckin round at my jigs I think I had one or 2 other sunfish in the mix and we gave up 2 crappie fish off the stringer before we put these on it then we gave these up as well  just thought the sunfish forum might want to see the sunfish I ketched accidently

Longear,Bluegill,and Crappie! "KABOOM"! man were they in shallow water brother ..... we did ketch one or 2 here and there a bit deeper but most were in 3 er so fow all around a bunch of trees in the water up cloae to the bank

Cool....i always ketch other fish im not targeting while fishing for Sunnies.Sometimes it helps in not getting skunked.

The bright spawning colors are starting to fade as we move towards cooler weather.
