I got out to wheeler branch today. I was looking for eaters and I hit what I was looking for. I limited out on under 14 inchers, and a nice walleye to boot. All in all I caught over 20 bass and the one walleye. The bass where in 15-20 ft on crig and weightless baits. The walleye hit a baby human in 5 ft of water.

Mike,
Wheeler has been on my short list to visit, but haven't made it yet. Sounds like it might be worth a trip!

Nice Mike! That lake certainly needs some of those smaller fish taken out of it.

Now the she is married I have to use bribes to get her to come visit. Shes a sucker for baked Parmesan-crusted fish, (recipe from GreaseBath). I have a feeling I'll be keeping more of my catches. So I made a yak friendly Stringer.
