I was told by a city employee that after this weekend all ramps will be closed on the vine. Thay are dropping the lake another foot to do work on dam and they are letting a lot of water out at this time. Must be true.
We managed a good trip today so out with a bang I suppose.

Does that include marina ramps or just city/corps ramps?

City and corp but I fall off silver lake ramp now. Drop one more ft of water and don't think it will work anymore.

hey there sir , looking good on the crappie ....
I was wondering how low the lake will be when they drop it .
many many moons ago they worked on the dam and dropped it I think somewhere around 20 foot below full .
sure made for a bank anglers dream come true thumb

Can't open anything unless it rains and they have the dam fixed. It's possible for Silver Lake to do something to the end of there ramp with gravel to make it usable. At ten bucks a boat I could make it work.

Not to rub it in or anything, but I launched my boat today from Rockledge park. My kayak boat that is.

Does anyone know if they are closed now, or after this weekend?

We have a slip at Twin Coves. Everytime we pull out we see the nice new ramp being built at Twin Coves park. Sometimes wondering if we will ever see enough rain to make it usable. I believe everything runs in cycles. I'm ready for this cycle to be over.

o.u. sooner, I live 2 miles from that ramp, and I don't think it will be usable for a LONG time.

I launched at dove loop today. It's getting really tough. I think I'm done fishing there unless it gets some water, or they add a low water ramp.
