Hi, I have been wanting to catch my first buffalo but after weeks of trying I am still have yet caught one. i met a guy that caught a lot of them the past few times I saw him and his bait was bread, I tried the same spot, setup and time but still nothing. What am I missing? I thought buffalo loves bread, do I have to mix it with something else to attract them? My lake is grapevine .

Try mixing a very strong blend of strawberry koolaid. Make it like 2 packets in a cup of water or less. Dip your bread ball in the mixture to let it soak up some of the flavor/scent. Buffs like fruity or sweet smelling baits. Do not use a very big bread ball due to the small size of the buffalo's mouth. Also, a buffalo bite is very gentle. If the rod tip is twitching, put the steel to him.

Grapevine is a good lake for buffs.
