I'll be out there crappie this morning so if your out on the lake to let me know if your doing any good and I'll let you know if I'm doing any good. I found a good brush pile last week but it was full of small ones. Hoping to find the slabs today. I'm going to try to spend more time searching for the fish with my sides can to see if that will improve my odds. Will post pics later if I have any luck. Here is my number if anyone is on the lake 254-230-2831

Hope you find the big ones. But, hey, the small ones are also fun to catch!

Well guys it didn't go well. Right at the lunch my boat doesn't want to go into reverse. So I putted around abit working on my depth finder skills. Then I head over to the twin bridges to start fishing and my trolling motor won't turn now I'm frustrated cause I can't move from bridge pillar to bridge pillar. So I tie up to one pillar and work on the trolling motor but not enough tools on the boat. I caught one crappie on that pillar and then left for the boat ramp in sad spirits. I was able to fix the trolling motor today. A bolt feel off of the shaft internally and was stuck on the bearing. Luckily it was able to be fixed without new parts. And who the heck needs reverse anyways. Don't worry they will get out of the way. Learned that driving the Saratoga. You mean the USS Saratogo? "Captain Ron"

Hope I didn't jinx you with my wish of good luck.
I'm not a mechanic but the one time that happened to me the adjustment nut on the shifting lever fixed the problem. You might ask in the Boats & Motors forum for suggestions on what to check.
