Had brothers Rosh and Maged as guests on Sunday. They were a lot of fun to spend the day on the water with (excuse the grammar). We had a good day as we kept 50 fish for a birthday party they were preparing for. We probably landed a total of 100 fish and a lot of them were of the magnum size. The morning was some what cool and the two of them were not dressed warmly in my opinion, but they did not complain. The fish were located on the side of a mid lake hump on the Eastern side of Roberts. They were constantly on the move. The trick we used was to just stay in position when the fish left. Soon they would be back under the boat and we could catch a few more. Caught a few doubles with the slab jig combo, but most were tricked with the slab. The 71 degree water was most productive in the 20-30 foot depth range.
Do not have another trip scheduled until this Thursday and I am looking forward to it.

Awesome report Don. Thanks for the report. I won't be hitting the lake for two weeks due to workload. Keep those reports coming.

Great job Don, looks like they enjoyed it. We loaded a cooler also, fishing not far from you it sounds like. We saw the birds working and got on em. You are correct just stay in one spot they just kept coming back around. Really aggressive and hard fighting fish!

We thought we would see you at RR today......good you stayed home. We fished 8am-12 noon and the sandies had lockjaw. Found shad in 20-25 ft range in 30-40 ft of water. The fish were not on the humps but in deeper water. They were around the the shad and mostly hugging the bottom. Did a lot of scouting but not even one taker. There were 1/2 dozen other boats doing the same and with the same results.
