Went on a scouting run from 12:30PM to 5 PM. Plan was to find fish, see if I could catch 10 whites, then move on to check another spot. Started at east end of Long Ridge and found fish in 21 fow. Caught 10 there. No fish at NoName Hump and Midlake Hump. Saw some at 3-Jug and managed to catch 5 in 16 fow. Then to Merimac Point and found fish in 15 fow. Caught 10 there and moved on to Iron Wall Hump. Nothing there. Found some at Kevin's Point and caught 5 in 15 fow. Went south and checked East Hump and Pitts Point and nothing there. Last stop was Greenhouse Ridge. Caught 10 and a hybrid there in 20 fow then headed home. Total was 54: 45 whites, a hybrid, 5 cats, 2 nice yellow bass, and a crappie.
Good to see whites showing up on south end again and on deep humps. All but a few fish were caught on #4 Mepps and others were on #2. So, at present you can catch them shallow (10 to 17 fow) and deep (20 to 22 fow) sitting on the bottom on structures at those depths. All caught reeling Mepps up from bottom. Fish wanted Mepps reeled medium to medium fast 3 to 5 cranks on my 6 to 1 reel.

Took friend Don P out at 2:15PM to catch fish for cleaning. Spent whole time at east end of Long Ridge and caught 48: 37 whites, 3 hybrids, 4 cats and 4 short hybrids. Fish were in 21 to 24 fow - deepest I've caught them since early summer.
