I had a heart attack last year at the age of 40. Scared me to death. I smoked from 18 to 40 at least a pack a day. Nov 12th last year I had a heart attack and have not had a cigarette since. I used the E-cig or like I called it the puffer. You can buy different levels of nicotine from 24, 18, 12, 6, and 0% I gradually decreased the level of nicotine and now I am nicotine free since June of this year. Super easy way to quit smoking and I highly encourage you guys that want to quit to try it. If you have questions PM me and I'll help you quit. Good for you! Now you won't die before your time!

For those who want to quit, you have to want to quit more than you want to smoke. Good luck to you.

October 13 this year was my one year anniversary for my quit date! Looking back I don't know how I ever smoked. The smell of it now literally makes me sick to my stomach. Before I quit I always said I wanted to but never did, always tried and relapsed! I'm here to tell you if you REALLY want to quit you can do it, it's all about will power and self motivation.

My brother sent me a link to a video that motivated more than ever to quit smoking, I don't have the link. YouTube the Bryan Curtis story, it's truly heartbreaking to watch. In reality I didn't want my family to go through that so I laid em down! Best of luck to whoever is fighting that battle and don't give up improving your quality of life!

I'll smoke a cigar from time to time and on the boat is one of the times it is extra pleasurable.

Not smoking but I dipped on a regular since I was 13. My dad passed away last June (I was 23) and on the way to the Air Port to get home I bought a can. Well I forgot it in the truck and have yet to buy a can since! I do have a smoke every now and then if I am drinking but that's about it!

After a bout with cancer last year, I would highly recommend everyone quit. One chemo treatment will make you a believer... Absolutely 3+ yrs nonsmoker, I will say this though, I think I caught more fish when I smoked. I don't know how many times I'd make a cast reach for cig, lite it up, take a drag and ck my line to find a fish on it....LOL might just be mental, but it happened a lot, not as much now....

Not no but he!! no...my Dad died of lung cancer at 60 was ready to retire in great financial shape but smoked for about 40 years and it finally got him. +1 X 1000 My sister died of it, for one. I smoked for 7 years when I was young, quit after 3 tries, without meds, etc., and now cigarette smoke is very obnoxious to me! I know it's hard to quit, but you can do it. BTW, my sister died at 65. She was 4 years older than me, and I am 78 3/4 now.

Not no but he!! no...my Dad died of lung cancer at 60 was ready to retire in great financial shape but smoked for about 40 years and it finally got him. Mine died at 50, he was a chain smoker. He loved Pall Mall filterless and rolled his own bugle. I would give anything to have him back. Lee I understand what its all about, as I chewed tobacco for 15+ years, but I quit cold turkey when I was 28. Birth of my daughter and just not wanting to chance it anymore.
