FYI I was fishing the shoreline. The barge was " in the way". LOL yall act like I went over there to [censored] off alot of people. that was NOT my intention, but I/we in a boat have the right to fish anywhere on public waters! What else needs to be discussed? Its easy to be an angel or hero from a keyboard. You/yall in the boat don't have any more right to fish anywhere on public waters than the guys on the barge though. You seem to think being on a boat somehow trumps them being on the barge. It doesn't. You sound like a fool every time you cite the material you are presenting in this way. As I just explained, the context you are using that article from TPWD in isn't the same as you are using it. It applies to ALL fishermen. Boating or non. You cannot block barge fishermen any more than they can tell you not to fish there. It's mutual. You're on a boat though. Did you seriously buy a boat to fish public barges you could go fish without a boat? Are you that inept that you can't think of any places to fish on the lake except where someone decided it was worth putting up a barge? As a boater, long time shore fishermen, and generally respectful outdoorsman... I absolutely hate seeing boaters pull up on barge fishermen, shore fishermen, etc. and fish right on top of them. If I am fishing somewhere as a shore fisherman it's probably the best blend of fishable water and geographical convenience I had access to. You're on a dang boat, go get your own spot! I have fished Lewisville for years, and while I have fished the bluffs north of the barge and south of the barge, I've never fished the barge unless I was ON the barge. It's a simple matter of respect to me. There are miles of docks and marinas I can go fish on a boat and not be disrespecting anyone in any way, why would I bother with the barge? I know who is there, and why they are there, and I would consider it low caliber to pull in and fish on them regardless of any laws one way or another.

A little restraint on both sides is warranted and less drama.

I always enjoy a little drama from time to time. So how old are you two? Oh, never mind..
Biden famously said in the New York Observer, “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”

That Lake is crazy. I saw a speed boat try to Run over a jet sky. Then when the jet sky went into the marina they driver of the speed boat was yelling about how he would go get his gun from the truck and shoot him. I don't know what the jet sky dude did but that speed boat guy was pissed.

You can pull into an open slip at a marina and fish but tying to it is a no no...

You can pull into an open slip at a marina and fish but tying to it is a no no... This is not true! You can pull up to a slip and cast into a slip but you CANNOT pull up under the drip line of a slip unless you have permission or lease the slip. What if you be there fishin inside the slip and the lessee of the slip shows up and just ties off behind ya and locks the boat with a chain. You is in a bad way. Can fish the water all day long but cannot pull into the slip without permission or leasing the slip. You are correct that you can not tie up to the slip/dock. For the same reason. Unless of course you have permission or lease the slip.
