Went out yesterday and did a little looking around for duck season....... Decided I'll go for fur instead of feathers in early season. Gonna be a cluster*** with so little water.

All them dang property owners around the lake watering their yards to blame....(strong sarcasm) peep

We are blessed though to still have great access to the lake in terms of ramps and such. Having to go slower and be smarter is not that bad at all compared to no ramp access. Our ramp in our park still has 15' of water off the back and is in great shape. Life ain't all that bad.

Agree Mark.. Lots of the "old hands" on Fork don't remember launching off tires or old road beds when the lake WAS young. Fish are still here, just have to adjust.

It got about 8' low in early 2012. That's the lowest I remember.

I have seen fork 8ft low or little lower 2012 sounds right. Was out today and with the lake being low it's defiantly getting more dangerous to run

It was 18 feet below normal pool level when it opened Labor Day 1980.

guy in a black, fairly new, Ranger pulled in next to the live release boat at the Berkley this afternoon and he was sitting in water under his console.

He said he hit a stump coming into Lake Fork Marina to weigh a fish. RT was visitng so he took the co-angler over to Rainswood to get the truck and trailer and they loaded it up at the ramp on the other side of the LRB which has been closed for quite awhile now.

It took a good 5 minutes to drain all of the water out the hole which was right near where the intake was for his livewell.

Lowest I saw it was in 2010 or 11 when it was about 9' low.

Fork at full pool is a beautiful lake. This is Little Penson about 07-08, I miss you.

There are a lot of stumps in the marked boat runs. Even us old guys that was fishing Fork when it first opened can't remember where all the trees were....but they are still there.

Man, that is a beautiful picture. Would love to fish something like that!
Afraid I have only 'added to the "Jinx" of low pool levels' by purchasing a bass boat last year.
Fishing since April last year, have yet to fish any lake that is at full pool level.
Heck, my "home lake", Eagle Mountain is now all but closed - no open public ramps! NONE!
Anyway, nice picture. Ya'll just be thankful you can still get on the water there
Just my opinion
God Bless
