couple days ago we did very well on north end in timber 20ft deep, mostly eater channels with no large fish and a couple blues biggest of which was 2-3lbs. Chummed with soured grain and caught all on Stubby's on rods. With the N wind today blowing over night south end should be good, I would be dropping along/near dam on either end depending on wind direction NW or NE (which it's supposed to be.

Set out 12 lines in 25-30' of water this am. Baited with live perch and cut bait. Cked lines tonight and had a 10# blue and an 8# blue. Crazy discovery when cleaning them. Both fishes stomachs were full of zebra mussels. Entire digestive tracks of both fish were filled solid with them. Can they pass them thru ? Bizarre !
Lines are soaking tonight I will post results tomorrow.

I have heard other fishermen from other lakes sayin the same thing.I haven't cleaned any blues from lavon that have had any in them, but Im not sure they are thick there yet. That is good though, maybe the blues will clean em out.

Cats I've caught on Ray Roberts have been full of zebra's, both blues and channels.

I am sorry I did not see this earlier, I jug fish Ray Bob quite a bit,. I seem to do better around the humps and along ridges. Johnson Branch always produces and keeps me out of the wind. Also, I scatter just around the corps brush piles. I bait them with shad and use 5/0 Octopus hooks, biggest cat we have caught on a jug line is a 32 pound blue. We did let it go...

I drop them in minimum of 20 feet of water and most have three hooks in 5 foot intevals beginning 2 feet off the bottom, hope this helps and pm me if you need any furhter information.
